SCAM CALL WARNING – PLEASE SHARE!

🌞 Morning all! 👋🏼🚔

Today’s activities have already included a visit to TIBSHELF Secondary School this morning where we’ve been sharing advice around Halloween 🎃 and Firework/Bonfire Night safety 🔥🎆.

⚠️ SCAM CALL WARNING – PLEASE SHARE! 📞
We’ve had reports of fraudsters targeting people across the area pretending to be bank staff or police officers.
They may claim there’s suspicious activity on your bank account and ask you to transfer money to a “safe account”, hand over your bank card or withdraw cash.

🚨 Remember
Your bank and the police will NEVER ask you to transfer money or hand over cash or bank cards to help with an investigation.
If you receive a suspicious call, hang up and contact your bank using the number on the back of your card, or call 159. Use a different phone if possible.

Please spread the word, particularly with older or vulnerable family members, friends and neighbours. ❤️

📍 Out and about today!
The team will be around Tibshelf for part of the shift before heading down to Hilcote Community Centre for our Community Catch-Up at around 12pm. ☕👮🏼‍♂️

If you’re in the area, pop along for a chat, raise any concerns or simply come and say hello. We’re always happy to have a catch-up and hear what’s happening locally! 😊

You know the drill 💪🏼😄  See you around today folks! 👋🏼
